Gardena is a small, quaint city in Los Angeles County. The population at the time of the 2010 U.S. census was 59,135. This was up from 57,653 at the recording of the 2000 census. Also according to the 2010 census bureau, the city has an area of 6 square miles, of which almost 100 percent is land.
